FAQ
Which links are supported?
Public Instagram Reels, posts (including photo carousels) and Stories, plus videos, GIFs and photos from public X (Twitter) posts — both x.com and twitter.com links work. Private/protected accounts and profile or hashtag pages aren't supported: paste a link to a single post.
Why can't I download a Story?
Stories are only ever visible to an account's followers while logged in, and expire after 24 hours — they can't be fetched anonymously. A story link only works if the server operator has configured a logged-in session.
Do X (Twitter) downloads have the same limits?
No — X videos are read through the same public endpoint that powers embedded posts on other websites, so they need no login at all and aren't tied to a session that can expire. If the post is public, it will work.
Is this legal?
Only download content you own, have permission to use, or that's covered by fair use and the platform's own terms. Respect creators' copyright — this tool is meant for personal backups and content you're authorized to save, not redistribution.
Why did fetching fail?
The link may be private, region-locked, or removed, or the platform may be temporarily rate-limiting requests. Double-check it opens in a normal browser first, then try again in a minute.
